- 5 / 5By Lauren NeifertWhile at the Great Mere Inn the three of us had some type of fish (scallops, shrimp and white fish) which were all absolutely fantastic. I had wanted to the mushrooms however found out there was seasoning on them which the cooks were nice enough to make me some without. The kitchen was quick, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. A great view and even though we could not see due to the fog, they told us you can see Chicago on a clear night since you can see Lake Michigan from the restaurant . Definitely have to try if in the the area. Well worth it!!April 26, 2017
